The restraining order was requested after receiving death threats generated by Tina Minasian’s lies in the media and on the internet. It had nothing to do with her “freedom of speech.” It was about the Target Physician protecting his family from the lunatics Tina Minasian had incited. Most recently Ms. Minasian participated in a fake MySpace page that directed people to the Target Physician’s home. When the Target Physician filed a police report about the fake MySpace page, the officers recommended that the Target Physician file for a restraining order against Tina. The original Judge obviously saw enough evidence because he granted a restraining order. Yes, the Target Physician did have a restraining order against Tina Minasian. It just didn’t become permanent by the second Judge. The Judge who denied the permanent restraining order encouraged the Target Physician to file a civil lawsuit to achieve his goal. It will be converted to a permanent restraining order after Ms. Minasian physically harms the Target Physician or his family. This Judge dismissed the Taret Physician’s request without prejudice. The Target Physician would probably have had a different outcome with a Judge who was younger and more computer/technologically informed. This grumpy Judge who denied it confessed his ignorance about the use of the internet and its dangers, MySpace specifically. It’s no surprise that he did not grant the Doctor’s request for a restraining order when he doesn’t understand the threats from the internet. An example of the dangers of the internet is the Laurie Drew case. She is currently being prosecuted for internet stalking after her teenage victim committed suicide.
Tina likes to hide behind what she calls her “freedom of speech.” What Tina and company consider to be “freedom of speech” is considered defamation, slander, libel, stalking, cyber stalking, cyber harassment, conspiracy, harassment, etc…..to the rest of the world.
